Representing MESCyT, Mrs. Libby Fernández and Mr. Luis E. Yangüela Grullón. On behalf of Universidad Domínico Americano, Dr. Laura Reyes Alardo, Academic Vice-Chancellor.

Following the guidelines of Ministerio de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología (MESCyT), we have begun the process of returning to the university campus for some subjects that require a face-to-face component.

In this regard, last Wednesday, February 2, personnel from the Vice-Ministry of Higher Education of MESCyT visited our facilities in order to inspect them and ensure that they were in accordance with the biosecurity protocol and the guidelines established by that organization in terms of sanitary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.

We are pleased to inform that our university has been in compliance with the requirements to teach face-to-face classes for subjects that have been planned in this modality.

We continue to work to keep our campus safe, following governmental measures and our health protocol. Compliance with the protocols is a combined commitment of each individual and collective that will allow us to give continuity to learning.

We encourage our community to maintain the necessary precautions and to be attentive to the information issued in this regard in our communication channels.
