As part of the launching of the Five-Year Evaluation of our university, on March 24, we received a follow-up visit from delegates of Ministerio de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología  (MESCyT) to learn about the progress of the institutional self-evaluation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of MESCyT: Juan Francisco Viloria Santos, Vice-Minister of Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions (IES); Lourdes Concepción, in charge of the Five-Year Evaluation Department; Juan de la Cruz, Technical Manager of Evaluation and Accreditation; Ramón Peralta, Technical Advisor; as well as our Institutional Self-Evaluation Committee formed by Ramón Sosa, UNICDA’s Chancellor; Dr. Laura Reyes, Academic Vice-chancellor; Vilma Sosa, Human Resources Director; Orlando Rodríguez, Administrative Services Director; Alicia Carlo, Customer Relationship Director; Marleny Pérez, Quality Coordinator; Eddy Peralta, Project Coordinator and some of the members of the subcommittees: Koral Núñez, Educational Innovation Coordinator; and Michael Moore, Evaluations Coordinator.
 
We continue working on the self-evaluation phase with the objective of identifying opportunities for improvement in the internal management of our university.
