In order to carry out activities of common interest based on the combination of science and technology, the Universidad Domínico Americano (UNICDA) and the Dominican Society of Data Science (BIGDATADO), signed an agreement that contemplates the development of a series of actions and joint projects within the academic, scientific and cultural fields, which will benefit our educational community and will include activities of promotion, research, innovation and education on data science and big data.

The signing of the agreement was led by Eng. Ramón Sosa, Rector of UNICDA, and Eng. José Aquino, Director of BIGDATADO.

Also participating in the event were other representatives of BIGDATADO: Mr. Armando Robles, Project Director and Ms. Seuris Pérez, Director of Communications and Marketing of said company. Also present on behalf of our university were Dr. Laura Reyes, Academic Vice Rector, Karina Taveras, Head of Extension and Social Outreach, Karla Camacho, Continuing Education and Teacher Development Center Coordinator, and Eng. Federico Montero, Technology Portfolio Coordinator of Continued Education and Postgraduate Professor.
