  • Access to electronic information resources

Students of the Domínico Americano School get their usernames and passwords to Britannica or EBSCO from their teachers, or from BL service staff.

Students of the Domínico Americano University, as well as ICDA teachers and employees, get their usernames and passwords to EBSCO and e-books from the university coordinators, or from BL service staff. eLibraryUSA can only be accessed from BL stations.

  • Loans of documents

All documents being loaned out to students of the Domínico Americano School (DAS), Domínico Americano University, ICDA teachers and employees, and special users of certain types of documents require these users to comply with BL rules and policies.

Documents can be loaned from seven days (7) or more. If more time is needed, it can be requested at checkout from staff.

The late return of documents will result in late fees as detailed in the Lincoln Library Policies, Procedures, and Standards Manual.

The user will not be able to access new loans until the document / documents in arrears are / are not returned and the debt has been paid for the delinquency charges. Payment of late fees must be made at the ICDA general cashier; and a copy of the cash receipt delivered in the circulation area of the BL.

  • Use of group study rooms

The reservation of study rooms can be made in person, by telephone or by email circulacion@blincoln.edu.do by a person or a group with one (1) week in advance without exceeding more than three (3) reservations in a week. The usage time is two (2) hours; however, graduating students or those working on special projects may be allowed more time.
